Undoubtedly achieved Pakistani joined efforts for the new initiative “The First High Altitude Football & Cricket Tournament 2016”.

Pakistan Youth outreach in collaboration with Shah-e-Shams sports club Shimshal with great pleasure announcing the inaugural high altitude football and cricket tournament at world’s highest sports Arena Zarthgurben Shimshal ,Hunza which is located at 4100m. The high altitude tournament is organized in Memory of Mr. Muhammad Khayal Baig, father of well-known Mountaineer duo Ms.Samina Baig and Mr.Mirza Ali. Previously the location named Zarthgurben has been used as ski resort “basic” and for the past two years the ski events have been conducted, and offering the great venue for different sports activities. Mr.Mirza Ali and Ms.Samina Baig and their siblings with the support of people at Shimshal village have made it possible.
The high altitude tournament ground demonstrates the world’s highest sports Arena, a new introduction to the modern sports.
This is going to be world’s highest cricket and football grounds, in the near future more sports will be initiated soon. The football and cricket tournament inaugural matches respectively have been arranged for local teams of Shimshal. The organizers of the event warmly invite people from all over the country and the world to witness the final match at this highest sports ground on 14th of August, the day Pakistan came into existence.
Chairman of the Pakistan Youth Outreach, Mr. Mirza Ali, shared his perspective on the new addition. Mirza Ali and Samina Baig envision a healthy activity, promoting the positive message, and encourage unique sports for everyone.
